This document describes licensing for the following products:

• :zibravdb-logo: ZibraVDB
• :zibragds: ZibraGDS

Note that some of described functionality requires up-to-date version of the plugin. Some licenses may not work with older versions of the plugin.

License Properties

Each license has a number of properties:

• Email: Used to identify the contact person for the license. When contacting ZibraAI regarding any license related issues from a different email or via other channels, please include the license key in your inquiries.
• License Key: Used to identify the license. Anyone who knows the key can use the license, so please don’t share it publicly. When contacting ZibraAI regarding license-related issues, in case have multiple licenses tied to the same email, please include it in your inquiries.
• Expiration Date: Date when the license expires. When renewing a subscription, this date gets updated, so you won’t need to change your license key. Note that when renewing a subscription, for the new expiration date to take effect on the Zibra License Server, you’ll need to return the license and check it out again.
• License Tier: What kind of entity is the license intended for (e.g.,” Enterprise” or “Individual”). This affects available Activation Types and ‣ .
• License Types and Number of concurrent users (Number of seats): Each license key has one or more license types, allowing for different usage of a plugin. For example View-only that only allows decompression or Interactive that unlocks full functionality. Each license type has a separate number of allowed concurrent users (”seats”) When using Zibra License Server, some or all of those licenses can be checked out to the license server, decreasing the number of “seats” available on online license server.
• List of available products: List of products that can be used with the license (e.g., “ZibraVDB for UE” and “ZibraVDB for Houdini”).

ZibraAI plugins support multiple activation flows for different circumstances and use cases.

Requirement: Connectivity to the online license server - https://license.zibra.ai

To use this method user requires an Internet connection. To activate the plugin user needs to enter the license key into respective field in the plugin. See documentation for each respective plugin for exact instructions.
